Obama and Trump especially on the health sector.Under the leadership of Pres. Obama, the healthcare received a lot of changes especially by the introduction of the Affordable Care Act. For a long time law, the ACA also called Obama care has been a topic of debate among the politicians, policymakers, and shareholders since it was signed in 2010. The ACA was to facilitate the purchase of cheap health insurance Indiana through different systems such as the health insurance exchanges tax credit and subsidiaries. This was a shift from the initial state where state were required to expand eligibility for Medicaid under the law which changed after the signing in of the ACA where Medicaid expansion was voluntary.  Given in this article are some of the impacts of the is he in the Indiana and possible changes after the order by Pres. Trump.

One of the impacts of the ACA that many researchers have found out after the introduction, is that there is reduction in number of people who are uninsured in Indiana. It is said that between 2013 and 2014 after the introduction of the is ACA, the number of uninsured people in Indiana declined by 18.8% that is from 45 million people to 36.7 million people.  There was a notable increase in insured people constantly reducing the number of uninsured people in Indiana important being 16.3 %, 14.5 in 2013, 11.7 in 2014 and researchers should that at the end of 2016, the number of uninsured people in 2016 was 8.6%.  The ACA was effective in dropping the number of uninsured people in Indiana because of the eligibility of the Medicare programs as well as improved tax credit allowing people to purchase private insurance. These are going to change because according to the Trumps order, the government is not going to subsidize which was the main reason as to why people were able to enroll for the health insurance exchange policies meaning it will be expensive as it increased the taxes.

ACA was also beneficial in different ways, in that it also including the expansion of coverage options for people. ACA was very powerful in establishing or limiting the out-of-pocket costs, therefore, minimizing the amount of money that people would pay from their pockets or family plan for the treatment. This was possible because ACA expanded the Medicaid by 130 percent of the federal poverty levels, which means that it provided health coverage for adults without children for the first time.  However, when the Trumpcare comes in, the expansion idea will be eliminated by 2020. It was possible to exchange insurance policies from online platforms, but still be different with the Trumpcare.
